Fundraising events are critical to creating financial resources and awareness for CVHN programming.  CVHN is able utilize these funds for program operations, purchasing of new mobile units, new equipment & supplies and more! 

 

CVHN proudly participates in multiple events throughout the year. Be sure to mark your calendar, we have marked ours!

CVHN participates in several events throughout the calendar year. Some are hosted independently, others are hosted by organizations in the community and CVHN is the recipient of funds raised.

The Big Give

Formally known as the Hurricane Party, CVHN has hosted this long standing exclusive event each all in 30A each fall  since 2005.  With over 200 of our closest friends and supporters, we enjoy an evening to include dancing, dinner and silent and live auctions.

Smile Mile & 5K

The Smile Mile & 5K run is an exclusive event hosted by CVHN at Marina Park in Watercolor FL. This family friendly event takes place the Saturday before Mother's day and draws over 400 participant.

2020 Race was canceled due to

COVID-19 restrictions.

DCWAF

Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation

The Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, or DCWAF, is one of CVHN's primary grants. As a partnering charity, CVHN participates in several DCWAF events throughout the year to include:

30A Wine Festival

30A Wine Festival is a must-exclusive, five day, signature event along 30A, that encompasses the vintner’s craft as well as the culinary arts. CVHN has been the beneficiary of this event since the begining of the festival!

The Witch Ride

On Halloween morning more than 350 witches, dressed in full regalia, meet at the Amphitheater in Gulf Place riding their "brooms" (bikes) along Scenic Highway 30a alongside the Gulf of Mexico.
Post ride, everyone gathers for brunch to enjoy music, dancing, raffle prizes, some silent auction items and the announcement of contest winners.

CVHN has been the recipient of event funds since it's inception over 15 years ago.

Easy on 30A

Easy on 30A, was founded in 2012 by locals Beth & Randy Carroll, with an idea of bringing musicians together to highlight the great talent along 30A and to bring community awareness to charities in the area, including CVHN.

Hosted at Marina Park in Watercolor FL,  this family friendly concert event boasts a craft market featuring local artists, raffle and silent auction.
