General Dentist with Pediatric Experience

Children’s Volunteer Health Network is a faith based non-profit mobile dental service that provides preventive and restorative dental care to underserved children at Walton and Okaloosa County elementary schools, located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. We are in search of a highly motivated Dentist who believes in providing phenomenal pediatric dental care and can help lead our team and our mobile practice to future growth. Job Type: Full-time

Pay:  Based on experience; this is a salaried, exempt position.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift: approximately 6 hours of patient care; 2 hour administrative tasks

  • Monday to Friday

  • Follow school schedule with administrative duties performed during school closures

  • The Preventive and Restorative Mobile Dental Clinic serves in the community during summer vacation

Clinical Setting:

  • Preventive and Restorative Mobile Dental Clinics with locations at multiple elementary schools

  • CVHN is an educational setting providing an Internship Program for Dental Assistants

·         Must be willing to travel extensively to the multiple elementary schools we serve

Work Remotely:

  • Yes. To complete administrative tasks during school closures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in pediatric setting with a strong passion to serve children

  • Has to be dependable and highly self-motivated

  • Knows how to effectively lead a team

  • Willing to teach and mentor dental and dental assisting students

 

License/Certification Requirements:

  • DMD or DDS degree from an accredited program

  • Must be currently licensed or willing to obtain license in the State of Florida; Health Access License accepted.

  • Current BLS/CPR certification

  • Current DEA license
