dental care

CVHN currently provides preventive dental care on our Mobile Dental Clinic, MDC, which currently travels to elementary schools in Walton and Okaloosa counties. Children at select schools will receive a permission form and information for services that will be avialable at their school location. We are not accepting appointments at this time.

Vision Care

We partner with a local vision provider in South Walton to provide children with free eye exams and glasses. We are seeking additional partners. Learn more about our Vision Program here.

mental health care

CVHN is excited to embark on a new initiative, providing mental health services to children k-12. We are in the development phase for this program. To learn more, check out our Mental Health page

Does my Child Qualify?

Your child may be eligible to receive free services through our programs. CVHN currently provides free dental and vision services for K – 12 children living in Okaloosa or Walton County. 

In order to qualify for our services, your child must meet one of the following requirements:

  1. Child enrolled in school under the age of 18

  2. Qualify for free/reduced lunch program

  3. Qualify for Medicaid (apply below)

  4. Resident of Okaloosa or Walton County

  5. Uninsured or under-insured

Children’s Volunteer Health Network, CVHN, is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization, established in 2005 in direct response to Walton and Okaloosa counties’ large population of families who are unable to access high-quality health services due to the unavailability (or inadequacy) of insurance.​
