Alice Stapleton – Executive Director

Alice Stapleton is thrilled to join the CVHN family and comes to them with 13 years of nonprofit experience. She has a BA in Organizational Leadership from Reinhardt College in Waleska, Georgia, and is pursuing her MS in Nonprofit Management at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Alice’s life in nonprofit work started in her hometown of Sautee-Nacoochee, Georgia when she became the Marketing & Publications Director for the Sautee-Nacoochee Community Association. This small arts and environmental organization located in what has been noted as “one of the 100 best small arts towns in America,” inspired Alice to dedicate her life to helping others see the reward of giving to and positively impacting the fabric of our world: our communities. She then went on complete nonprofit theatre work in Oregon and Washington, but when she was told that she was a better director than actress, she decided to pursue her leadership potential, and back to the South she came! Recently, Alice relocated to SOWAL from Americus, GA where she acted as Executive Director for New Horizons Habitat for Humanity. Other nonprofit groups for which Alice has worked include United Way, where she worked in program development and fund allocation, and the YMCA, at which she was responsible for more than 15 afterschool sites and 2000 school children each day. In addition to her “day job,” Alice consults nonprofits all over the Southeast on topics such as board and staff development, strategic planning, financial management, and leadership issues. She is an avid reader of English literature, and in her spare time she is either on the water, or traveling. Alice would like to be a writer when she grows up.

Kim Pall – Office Manager

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Kim’s family moved her to Seminole Florida in 1977.   After College, Kim worked in the accounting field for a number of large companies.  Then in 1996 while living in Tampa, she and husband Chris, started the nationally recognized hand painted glassware company Kim Pall Creations.

On a family vacation Kim, Chris and her two daughters (Lindsay and Stefani) fell in love with the 30A area enough to sell everything and move here permanently in 2002.

Kim has given her time back by being a mentor at Seaside Neighborhood School and involved with the Coastal Queens of Northwest Florida. She first learned of CVHN at a “Queens” meeting and felt God had placed it in her heart to do more for them. That opportunity soon came up! She became the Office Manager in 2008 and has never looked back. She finds it a true blessing every day to be a part of an organization that is doing so many things for so many children.
